AWG keeps growing and, even working remotely, we stick to our customs.–
In AWG we wanted to be closer to our team and we did it 💪!
Even working remotely, we stick to our customs, that’s why on Wednesday June 28th, our avatars started the day receiving a surprise breakfast at home.
This was just the preview for what was still to come during the rest of the day.
Later that Wednesday, and as we do at AWG at the end of each quarter, we gathered together to share results and goals for the forthcoming months 👏!
AWG Keeps growing
In a super call with the entire team, with coworkers connected from Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil we talked about our biggest achievements during the first four months of 2020, the challenges we faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how we’ve successfully overcome them.
During these four months, all of our employees started working remotely, since the third week of March (before lockdown was mandatory in many countries), and to ease the transition, we created a Remote Work Guide, with tools and recommendations.
In the first four months of 2020, there were also several additions to the team. Those were Pilar Urraco (Content Curator), Matías Ochoa (Service Reliability Engineer), María Urdiales Goyeneche (Community Manager), Ricardo Morelli (Multimedia Designer), Carolina Falcone (Business Executive), José Larralde (Performance Specialist), and Paola Racioppi (Growth), who came back after maternity leave.
18% growth during 2020’s first Q
Even when everyone in our industry is facing COVID-19 consequences, in AWG we managed to grow 18%, compared to 2019’s same period. We signed new contracts, arranged new commercial agreements, and reach new borders.
Now, looking towards the second quarter of the year, with compromise, teamwork, and perseverance, we’ll continue working to provide our services in the more than 30 countries we operate, with the compromise to give our absolute best every single time.
AWG keeps growing and we’re definetly ready for more!
