Japan couldn’t, but we made it possible: Avatar World Group Olympics!–
Since March, our avatars competed for three great prizes from their homes in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay.
The Avatar World Group Olympics were created as a way to do activities as a team, even from the distance.
On March 13th, we decided as a company to challenge our employees with activities that can be both fun and competitive. The idea was to keep them entertained from home in the stressful times we’re living due to the covid-19 pandemic.
We’re very happy with the participation and, apart from the three main winners, two of our teammates also had a special recognition. Those are Sebastián Villar (Graphic Designer) for his outstanding creativity, and Macarena García (Front End Developer), for her musical abilities.
And, last but not least, of course, we give huge congratulation to the podium girls! Natalia Riccardi (Lead Graphic Designer), who won the big prize: a brand new scooter; Ailén Falcon (Project Manager), winner of a set of high-end pans; and Sabrina Harpe (Producto Manager), who received a TV!
Will there be a new edition of the Avatar Wold Group Olympics?
Well, the Olympics are every four years, so we still have plenty of time to decide, however, what we can answer so far is that many more activities are coming soon, so definitely, stay tuned!
